Build an Army Unlocking barracks stock
Push the lane, open rarer shop rows — no fake names copied from other army games.
Unlocking units in Build an Army is a barracks problem, not a gacha banner and not a world-war campaign checklist. LiveForFun’s official description is the entire public roster promise: build your army using units from the barracks, then unlock rare and legendary units, each with unique abilities, as you survive ambushes and push new ground.
This page explains that progression without inventing a 15-row shop. If you need the send itself, use How to Play. If you need first-session infantry, use Getting Started. If you need spend order, use the Barracks Guide.
The barracks is the unlock screen
There is no separate armory we can document with a public screenshot atlas. Stock appears in the barracks as you can afford it and as you have pushed far enough for the shop to care. You buy, you place, you Deploy. That is how a new unit becomes real.
The starter is an infantry soldier. Treat every later row as something the lane has to earn. Walking around the four-player server looking for a hidden NPC vendor is not the documented loop. The documented loop is the shop attached to your army.
When a new silhouette shows up, read what the barracks actually says on that row. This wiki will not assign it a name borrowed from Make a Army, Build ur Army, or Command an Army. Those rosters are other games.
Rare and legendary are official — names are not ours to fake
Rare and legendary units with unique abilities are in the official copy. That is a real rarity ladder. It is not permission to publish a counterfeit list of Spartans, Immortals, or whatever another YouTuber ranked for a different title.
Until LiveForFun publishes a stable public roster, describe what you unlocked by rarity and job: starter infantry, early sergeant threat on the enemy side, later shop stock with a unique ability. Put ranking opinions on the Tier List and role notes on Players, still without a fabricated price column.
Unique abilities matter only after the unit is placed and deployed. A legendary that sits unbought in the shop does not march. A rare that you bought and then left undeployed while you AFK in the lobby does not fight the volcano-looking stretch of the lane.
Push farther, then shop again
The march is the unlock key. Early ground is infantry and sergeants. Later ground includes landmarks such as a volcano-looking region. Cash from distance and combat is what lets you click the next barracks row. That economy is How to Earn Money.
If the shop looks “stuck,” you are usually not missing a secret unit — you are missing a successful send. Damage upgrades are the early investment that makes the next row reachable. Buying five more default infantry does not magically flag the legendary tier.
Undeploy after a paying march, spend on the new row if it is actually available, place the new troops, Deploy again. That is unlock gameplay. It is also ordinary loop gameplay, which is why this article stays short on fantasy and long on “go back to the barracks after a live line walks.”
What does not unlock units
Codes do not, as of September 2026. There are no widely confirmed public promo codes for this LiveForFun game. The Codes hub is empty on purpose.
Nuke! at 7,214 Robux is an OP gamepass, not a roster expander we will describe as a unit unlock method. Sprint Permanent is offsale and does not add troops.
Scripts that “buy any unit remotely” are not an unlock guide. They are an account-risk topic on Scripts.
Logging out on a wiped army does not unlock anything while you are away. Offline earnings continue a living lineup; they do not roll a loot table. See Offline Earnings.
Other players on your four-person server do not gift you their shop. Play your barracks.
How to use a new unit once it appears
Place it. Deploy it with a line that can actually escort it through the first sergeant contact. Spend damage if the new unit is still dying like infantry. Do not assume unique ability text means you can skip the lane.
Camera work for placing and sending is on Controls. If you cannot tell whether a new row is even in the shop, rotate, zoom, and look again before you assume the game is broken. HUD labels can move; the barracks does not.
Patch requests for more units belong on the LiveForFun group wall. When something actually ships, Updates is where this wiki will write it down — with real names if they are published, not with filler.
What we will not list on this page
We will not list a 15-row counterfeit shop with dollar prices and names lifted from Make a Army or Command an Army. We will not pretend the starter infantry is a named special-ops operator. We will not turn enemy sergeants into a collectible.
If LiveForFun publishes a roster, this article will name those troops. Until then, march farther, open the barracks, and buy what the shop is honestly showing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
How do I unlock more units?
Push the lane, earn cash, and buy new rows in the barracks. There is no documented second vendor. Start from Getting Started if the shop still only shows infantry.
Are rare and legendary units real?
Yes. Official copy promises rare and legendary troops with unique abilities. This page will not invent their names or prices.
Why does this wiki not list every unit with a cost?
Because a fake 15-row shop would be copied from other Roblox army games. Use the Barracks Guide and the Tier List instead.
Do I need Nuke! to unlock the roster?
No. Nuke! is a 7,214 Robux OP gamepass. Roster growth is a march-and-shop problem, described in How to Earn Money.
Can codes unlock units?
Not from any confirmed public list as of September 2026. Check Codes rather than lists for Build ur Army or Make a Army.
Should I deploy a new unit immediately?
Yes, after you place it on a line that can survive early sergeants. Sending is covered in How to Play.
